Differential &
Transfer Case Fluid

We use and recommend full synthetic fluids from Amsoil.

When?
50,000 Miles

What? Differential and transfer case fluids are the essential lubricants for the heavy-duty gears, bearings, and shafts that transfer power from your transmission to your wheels. While these components are built to be incredibly strong, they rely entirely on clean, high-pressure fluid to operate smoothly.

Why? These fluids are grouped together primarily because their maintenance requirements are similar. However, it is important to note that drive systems vary significantly; some front differentials and transfer cases share fluid with the transmission, while others operate in independent, dedicated reservoirs. Regardless of the setup, these fluids break down under the intense heat and mechanical load of your drivetrain, and replacing them is necessary to prevent internal gear damage and ensure these heavy-duty components maintain their longevity.

When? For independent components that utilize their own reservoirs, I recommend a professional fluid replacement every 50,000 miles. If your vehicle uses a shared fluid system, we will ensure it is inspected and serviced in conjunction with your transmission maintenance schedule to keep your entire drivetrain protected.
