Engine Air Filter
We recommend the best air filter you can afford.
When?
30,000 Miles
What? Your car’s engine air filter is its first line of defense. Think of it like your car’s lungs—it works hard to block dust, dirt, and debris from getting where they don’t belong.
Why? When a filter fails to do its job, those tiny particles go straight into your engine. From there, they can contaminate your oil and cause premature wear on internal components. That’s why we always recommend a premium filter. Cheap filters often cut corners, letting harmful particles slip through the cracks and shortening the life of your engine.
When? As a general rule of thumb, we recommend a fresh filter every 30,000 miles. However, your specific driving habits matter! If you spend a lot of time on dirt roads or in particularly dusty environments, you’ll want to check it more often.
